New Technology takes away our privacy to our own genitals for the sake of "Stopping the Terrorists" No way.

Okay, this technology, although really cool from a technical point, is extremely scary from a Constitutional standpoint.

When you can see genitalia from a technology then it's too much.

I don't care about thwarting terrorists if it means I have to show my business.

The company making this scary piece of equipment says that there's zero storage of images and it's viewed at a remote location.

SO WHAT!? Look at the detail.

My mantra about the shifting nature of our rights (primarily away from our best interest) is this: Just because we can do something doesn't make it alright.

I can buy a gun and shoot someone in the face, but that doesn't make it okay. Similarly, this x-ray technology is not okay.

It won't be long before someone would offer to sell nude pictures of celebrities and politicians from this technology, despite all the safeguards.

Hell no!.

Privacy takes another hit to help out law enforcement.

I hope I'm not the only one ticked off at the prospect of this serious loss in privacy.

I'll take a bold stand on this: If it comes down to some criminals getting away OR a serious loss of our privacy rights, then I'm on the side of privacy.

Screw law enforcement if they can't do their jobs without demanding that the rest of us sacrifice our right to be left alone.

The police need to get their crap together instead of expecting us to be okay with the steady encroachment on our rights.

The line is clearly being moved.

Loss of Freedom is occurring behind the scenes and in gradual steps: Beware Folks!

Here's a little thought experiment for those of you who think that Bush and the Republicans advocate "freedom".

The DHS claims the authority to seize travelers laptop computers, review the data, share the data with other agencies, and use it to prosecute people--ALL WITHOUT A WARRANT OR PROBABLE CAUSE.

That's right folks, welcome to the land of lost freedom and the government poking around in your personal private stuff. I have Attorney-Client Privileged stuff on my computer and I'll be damned if I'll turn it over without a fight.

Did this happen while a Democrat was in the White House? No.

This is nothing more than a naked power grab at our expense.

I'll say it again: We need a Constitutional Amendment guaranteeing a right to privacy.

If you support these policies then you are a fool and don't deserve the freedoms we are losing daily to these fascist pigs.
